SIS, Sec. 9 branch celebrated is First Annual Day on Saturday, the 27th January, 2018. Mrs. Pramila Gaje Kablana, Sr. Deputy mayor of Gurugram City was the Honorable Chief Guest on the occasion. Among other dignitaries present were Mr. Narendra Rao, Chairman, SIS Gurugran, Mr. Dipin Rao, Vice Chairman of SIS Gurugram, Mrs. Sharda Rao, Manager of SIS Gurugram, Mrs Supal Gandhi, Principal, Press, Parents and students.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the Honorable Chief Guest Mrs. Pramila Gaje Kablana escorted by the other dignitaries and the Principal. This entailed the banquet presentation. The Principal, Mrs. Supal Gandhi welcomed the guests and introduced the Hon'able chief guest to the gathering.
The Cultural programme based on the theme 'Corruption' comprised the Ganesh Vandana, the medly dance was a combination of three dances presented by little kids, and a Tableau 'Tajmahal se Delhi tak' depicting the India's condition on corruption. Here they have linked between 18th to 21th century, and showed the current scenario of India's condition due to corruption.
The Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Supal Gandhi, Principal. She said that, a student is a celebrity while he performs in his school and one must appreciate the glory of their celebration. She urged parents to encourage and praise their children for their good work and achievements more than a criticize them, as appreciation gives them indomitable strength to face the world as its only school where children can make mistakes, freely learn from them and improve as well to become exemplary.
