Dussehra Activity – Making Ravan

To celebrate the festival of Dussehra, a fun and creative activity was organized for the students. The children took part in Ravan-making, where they used colourful craft papers, cardboard, and other art materials to design and decorate the  figure of Ravan.

This activity not only encouraged their creativity and imagination but also helped them learn about the cultural significance of Dussehra. Teachers explained the story of Lord Rama’s victory over Ravan, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.

The students enjoyed cutting, pasting, and decorating their Ravan figures with bright colours and glitter. The activity filled the classroom with festive spirit and taught children the values of truth, courage, and righteousness.
