On 11 August 2017, School celebrated Independence day with zeal and spirit befitting the
occasion. Director of Sharda International Schools , Mr.Narendra Rao graced the occasion. The
Indian tricolour was unfurled in the school field in the morning. Thereafter, the cultural program began .Students recited patriotic poems that paid homage to the efforts
of the numerous freedom fighters of India. The school choir enthralled the audience with the patriotic songs they sang. The highlight of the program was the enactment of the Indian freedom struggle by the students of the primary section. It urged today's generation to value the freedom we have secured after the sacrifices of many. This colourful presentation received much deserved applause from the audience present. It was a proud moment to watch the students dance like a dream and spread the essence of tricolour wrapped in emotions and pride for our motherland and its protectors, the soldiers. Post this cultural extravaganza, students
participated in physical training activity that were organized by class V, VI, VII.
The vice -chairman Mr.Dipin Rao applauded and praised the efforts of young learners and thanked everyone for their gracious presence.
