Students of Sharda international School celebrated Krishna Janmashtami an annual commemoration of birth of the Hindu Deity Krishna, the eight Avatar of Vishnu on the school Campus on Thursday.
The function started with the dance performance by students of class Nursery to IInd who were beautifully dressed up as Krishna and Radha followed by the English speech on Janmashtami. The school was well a decorated and Aarti and bhajans were recited and songs related to Janmashtami were played

Principal Supal Gandhi and The director of academics Ms. Neelima wished the students "Happy Janmashtami" Ms. Neelima while addressing the kids spoke about the importance of the day and various aspect of Krishna's youthful days, the dahi Handi celebration and his playful and mischievous side . she said that the holy occassion brought people together and signified unity and faith .
The function ended with the beautiful Hindi Speech by a class VIII students.
