HPC Art Activity Report –  Class III

Activity Title: Drawing and Decorating Goddess Durga

Date: 22.9.2025

Objectives:

To introduce students to Indian mythology and cultural symbols through art.

To enhance creativity and imagination by drawing and decorating images.

To foster teamwork, participation, and joy in artistic expression.

Activity Description:

As part of the HPC art activity, students of Class 5 participated in a  drawing session where they illustrated Goddess Durga, symbolizing strength and divinity. Each student enthusiastically coloured their drawings and decorated them with beautiful borders using different materials like  colours and craft items. The classroom was filled with excitement, creativity, and cultural pride.

Outcomes:

Students gained awareness about the cultural and religious significance of Goddess Durga.

Each child showcased their artistic talent by making colorful and well-decorated drawings.

The activity boosted their confidence and encouraged them to express themselves through art.

Students enjoyed the activity and participated actively, showing great enthusiasm and teamwork.
