On 18th September, In our kindergarten class, children enjoyed a fun activity on learning the use of “a” and “an” with the help of colorful monster characters. We introduced two friendly monsters – A Monster who eats words that begin with consonants, and An Monster who eats words that begin with vowels. The children picked different picture cards like apple, cat, orange, bat, and igloo, and decided which monster the word should go to.
Through this playful game, children practiced saying sentences like “This is a cat” and “This is an apple.” The monster activity made grammar exciting, interactive, and easy for them to understand. It also encouraged participation, teamwork, and lots of laughter in the classroom.
