HPC Activity Report: “Say No to Plastic”
Organized by: SEWA & Environment (eco) Club
Classes: VI to X
Date: 15.10.2025
Venue: School Auditorium & ground
To create awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and
to encourage eco-friendly habits, the SEWA and Environment Club jointly
organized an HPC activity on the theme “Say No to Plastic” for students of
classes 6th to 10th.
The activity began with a short presentation highlighting
the adverse impact of single-use plastics on the environment, animals, and
human health. Students enthusiastically participated in Bag making with
environment friendly material and best-out-of-waste competitions. They
displayed their creativity by using biodegradable materials and spreading
strong messages like “Be Fantastic – Say No to Plastic” and “Reuse, Refuse,
Reduce.”
Through interactive discussions, students also explored
alternatives such as cloth bags, paper packaging, and recycling. The session
helped them realize the importance of taking small steps toward sustainable
living.
The event concluded with a pledge ceremony, where all
participants vowed to minimize plastic use in their daily lives and inspire
others to do the same.
Outcome:
Students developed a deeper understanding of environmental
responsibility, teamwork, and civic sense — embodying the true spirit of SEWA
(Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action).
