Description: Annual Day -24-12-2015 Sharda International School celebrated its Annual Day function on December 12 in its premises. Chief guest MR. Umesh Agggarwal , MLA- Guragaon, presided over the occasion along with the guest of honour Mr. Madhur Prabhakar, renowned practice head of eco-emissions exchange, a regular speaker at CII, FICCI, IIMs, IITs and various other business schools and industry forums. The programme began with the Ganesh VANDANA, followed by a welcome address by school executive director and advisor Mr. Dipin Rao. The programme was an endeavor to showcase the talents and aspirations of students. The function was a dynamic mix of creative expression by means of themed dance-drama on ‘save nature, save environment’ presented by the students of junior wing. They solemnly pledged to save the trees and requested the audience to plant more and more trees to conserve the environment. This program was followed by the dance fusion event in which students robed in colourful costumes enthralled the audience and set the stage on fire with their synchronized dance performances. The dance not only depicted various dance forms but also showcased the different colours of our Indian traditions. The school principal Mrs. Abha Raghav presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of the school in academics and extra-curricular activities followed by the prize distribution ceremony for the students with intellectual brilliance and other extra-curricular achievements. Many teachers were also honored by the chief guest in the ceremony. The chief guest, in his speech, appreciated the school’s continued endeavor to be one of the best schools. The guest of honor also lauded the contribution of the school in providing qualitative education in Gurgaon. The theme of the annual day “Gurudakshina- an ultimate gratitude” on the life of Eklavaya was the last programme which was full of dance and drama. The guest of honor Mr. Prabhakar appreciated the presentation and encouraged children with his motivational words. The programme ended with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem
