These are the famous words of Rabindranath Tagore.
Rabindranath Tagore was a multifaceted personality, a great poet, philosopher and painter who was on the intellectual firmament of the globe and received Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913 for classic "Gitanjali" and gave us our National Anthem.
Sharda International School commemorated the Jayanti of Rabindranath Tagore.
A special assembly was conducted on 6th May to celebrate the birth anniversary of Rabindra Nath Tagore , and TO HONOUR HIM AND HIS WORKS. After the school prayer, short speeches In Hindi and English were presented by class X and Class IX students respectively. Admiration of his work would have been incomplete without recitation of his poems from his great collection. So students ended their speech by reciting his famous poems emphasizing the great works he has done.
The celebration ended with the announcement of a winner of a Painting competition. Bhoomika from class IX was awarded a medal and certificate for winning a painting competition, organised by Charu Castle Foundation in December 2022.
