Yesterday, we celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas in school, which is observed on 26th July. We also explained to the children why this day is celebrated — to honour India's victory in the Kargil War, which took place in 1999, during the time when Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister of India.The students also did an activity where they made soldiers using ice cream sticks. They enjoyed the activity and understood the value of our brave soldiers.
